A how to guide for Weather Pilot is available for BlackBerry and for Android.

Weather Pilot(Download for BlackBerry and Android provides an interface that lets user quickly download the latest METAR and TAF data for an airport.   Users enter the ICAO or select a saved ICAO from the favorites.  If our database has geographic information stored for the ICAO then this information is provided to the user.

Currently Weather Pilot is available to users of the BlackBerry Playbook, BlackBerry phones running OS 6.0 and 7.0, and the Android Platform.   You can download them for BlackBerry from here and for Android from here.

The latest release of Weather Pilot has been downloaded 3000+ times in 69 countries.   The application is primarily geared towards pilots and will be developed with their needs in mind.   In it's current form the application is provided free of charge.  As additional features become more complex the application may need to be split into a free-basic version and another version with all features for a cost to the user.
